Jadyn Davis

Jadyn Davis is a journalist and photographer from New York City.

Jadyn first fell in love with journalism after taking class trips to 1010 WINS radio station in New York City during his junior year of high school at La Salle Academy. The experience inspired him to pursue a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ithaca College.

At Ithaca, Jadyn wrote news articles, feature stories, and music reviews for the college newspaper, the Ithacan. Additionally, he worked at the college television station ICTV as an assistant producer on the shows Good Day Ithaca and News Watch. Jadyn has reported on stories about mental health, education, and sustainability. He was also a newscaster for WICB radio station during Summer 2022.

One of the highlights of Jadyn's developing journalism career was covering the 2023 Global Model European Union simulation at the SUNY Global Center in New York City. Jadyn followed the council as delegates from over ten colleges brokered crucial agreements on energy distribution.

Besides journalism, Jadyn likes to read, cook, listen to music, and hiking. He is always willing to try something new and isn't afraid to take on a challenge. Most importantly, Jadyn enjoys getting to learn people's stories; he wants to be the person that tells the story in the best possible way.
