Ordering out was something that I didn’t do until I started attending Ithaca College. Like most people who don’t want to go through the hassle of cooking a meal every night, ordering out is the next best option. Though it can be costly, sometimes it's important to treat yourself. But what are some places that you can look into for good food? While everyone has different tastes and preferences, here are a few places that I rely on for a quick bite to eat.
D.P Dough
Located at 408 College Avenue, D.P Dough is an Italian Restaurant that delivers a variety of food but is mostly known for its calzones. The calzones are packed with classic Italian toppings like sausage, mozzarella and meatballs. However, D.P. Dough things up by having calzones that are loaded with bacon, steak, spinach and even pineapple. If you don’t want a calzone, D.P. Dough also offers pesto sticks and hot wings along with a few other options. They show excellent customer service and deliver food as soon as possible.

Insomnia Cookies
If you’re looking for something sweet, Insomnia Cookies will soothe your sweet tooth. Also at 408 College Avenue, Insomnia Cookies delivers fresh and warm cookies to your doorstep. They have a lot of options from your standard chocolate chip cookie to more daring flavors like double mint chocolate chip and smores. Additionally, Insomnia Cookies offers brownies, cookie cakes, ice cream sandwiches and even ice cream. When I look outside my window, I see the Insomnia Cookies truck drive by multiple times throughout the night, which shows how popular it is among college students.

They say food brings people together and Tai Chi Bubble Tea does just that for people. Whether you sit inside or order out, Tai Chi Bubble Tea’s food and bubble tea is enjoyed by many people. Tai Chi Bubble Tea serves ramen, sushi, poke bowl and bubble tea. The food is extremely flavorful and the bubble tea is a nice drink to top off your meal. Last year, after shoveling out my friend's car, he invited me to Tai Chi Bubble Tea. As a massive fan of bubble tea, also known as Booba, I was excited to try the restaurant out. Now it is a place that me and many of my friends order from. I’ve also noticed that Ithaca College has ordered bubble tea from them as well. Specifically during the Mid-Autumn Festival and Lunar New Year events at the college.
